Sharad Poonam celebrations at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir London
On the 8th of October 2014, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury, celebrated Sharad Poonam in Purushottam Mahal, within Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Complex. Hundreds of disciples gathered in the Hall within which a splendid display of steel utensils was arranged in a multi-tier ornament, at the centre of which presided Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa. The sabha commenced with the Divine blessings of Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa who explained the relevance of the Sharad Poonam to our sansthan.

The Sharad Purnima is a harvest festival celebrated throughout India on the full moon day of the Hindu lunar month of Ashvin (Asosud 15). This full moon comes during Sharad ritu (season) of the year and hence it is called Sharad Purnima or Sharad Poonam. (Purnima or Poonam = full moon). It marks the end of monsoon.

On Bhadarva Aamas, 24th September 2014, followers of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, all over the world, celebrated 107th Pragatya Jayanti of their beloved Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa. Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa manifested on this earth on Bhadarva Aamas 7th October 1907. Jeevanpran Swamibapa (as He was affectionately known; Jeevanpran meaning - life and soul) led the faith through the so called "modern era". He toured all over India, from village to village, town to town, city to city, establishing followers and temples.
