Donation to the blind and deaf in kenya
Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan is dedicated to serve the under privileged persons in the society irrespective of their cast or creed. On 28th January 2016, Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, through Acharya Swamishree, donated the First State of the Art Cyber Cafe (Purushottam Cyber Cafe) to the Kenya Institute for the Blind. This is one of the first of its kind in East and Central Africa.

67th Indian Republic Day
67th Indian Republic day was celebrated on 26th January 2016 with great delight at Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan Temple in Nairobi. Acharya Swamishree, sant mandal and devotes took part in the flag raising ceremony. A tri-coloured (Indian Flag colours) cake was offered to Lord Swaminarayan.

Environment Conservation and World Peace Rally 2016
On 24th January 2016, a special Environment Conservation and World Peace Rally was organized in Naivasha by Shree Swaminarayan Siddhant Sajivan Mandal Kenya, under the umbrella of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, Maninagar- an institution renowned for religious, cultural, social and environment conservation activities. This rally was organized as a run-up to the celebration of Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Smruti Mandir Rajat Mahotsav (Silver Jubilee) in September 2016.

Ladies welcome in the New Year with devotional traditional dance.
The female members of the congregation at Kingsbury Mandir, both young and old gathered in London to celebrate the New Year with devotional traditional dancing, known as "samuh raas".

A form of worship, samuh raas is a traditional folk dance originating from Gujarat, India, where the devotees dance in a circle around Lord Swaminarayan.

On the 15th of January, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj along with Sants and devotees departed for Masai Mara via Air Kenya for 2 nights. More devotees departed in mini buses to experience the safari.

Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury hosts its first Open Day
Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury held its first open day since moving from its previous residence in Golders Green. The day was organised by members of the community and included activities for all the family. There was a great fairground atmosphere in Purshottam Mahal as people tried their luck with knocking down the tins, testing their strength and playing their cards right.
